History of the company

1993

Establishment of AGROTRADE GROUP AT GEMER, spol. s.r.o., becoming independent from mother company AGROTRADE a.s. Bratislava, located at Safarikova street 71 in Rožňava. The company’s aim was technical provision of agriculture and the main activity consisted of the sale of spare parts for tractors ZETOR.

1994

Start of agricultural equipment trade. Signed contracts with French company TECNOMA and Hungarian company MEZŐGÉP Szolnok. The company also extended its offer to services, especially combine harvest.

1995

1996

Portfolio extended by combines, tractors, precision seeders, square balers - MASSEY FERGUSON and machines for harvesting and forage processing PÖTTINGER. Since 1995, company also deals with primary agricultural production and trade with agricultural commodities.

Start of agricultural production in the centre Gemerska Ves. 

1997

Start of agricultural production in the livestock sector.

Establishment of a daughter company AT TATRY spol. s.r.o. 

1998

Relocation of company to own premises and change its corporate headquarters to Safarikova 124, Rožňava. Purchasing Poľnonákup Jelsava in 1998 has expanded the activities in grain processing and storage. Establishment of agricultural production centre in Malý Čepčín/Turček.

1999

Acquirement of dealership with Swedish producer of seeders and machines for soil cultivation VÄDERSTAD. Establishment of a daughter company AT DUNAJ spol. s.r.o.

2000

Start of cooperation in the sale of technology with CATERPILLAR.

Establishment of a daughter company AT Zemplín spol. s.r.o.

2001

Since May 2001, the company operates under its current brand name AGROTRADE GROUP spol. s.r.o.

2002

Since 2002, the company is a direct importer of brands SAUERBURGER and TRIOLIET for Slovakia. 

2003

Start of the sale of chemical plant protection products and building an own distribution center. Construction activities started their operation on agricultural buildings and biogas stations. Portfolio extended by brands HATZENBICHLER and HYDRAC.

22.3.2003 - 10th anniversary of the company 

2005

2006

Start of cooperation with German company BIOGAS HOCHREITER. 

Establishment of a daughter company AT ABOV spol. s.r.o.

2007

Establishment of daughter companies AT NAWARO spol. s.r.o. and AT BABKA spol. s.r.o.

2008

Start of cooperation in the development and distribution of specialized monitoring system for agricultural machinery ITINERIS. Establishment of a daughter company AT AGROCES spol. s.r.o.

2010

Established cooperation with Danish company SAMSON.

Formation of the daughter company AT AGROTURIEC spol. s.r.o. 

2011

Start of production and sales of foliar fertilizers.

New brands in portfolio: KRAMPE, FUHRMANN, GÜSTROWER, RAUCH.

2012

Start of cooperation with German company WEIDEMANN.

2013

Portfolio extended by products from French company DURAPLAS.

2014

New brand in portfolio: ISUZU D-MAX.
